Clubs at West Villages
There are clubs and groups for almost everyone at any stage of life. Neighbors become friends as they enjoy everything from bocce ball to backgammon to book clubs. People from all walks of life come together to try new hobbies, learn new things, broaden horizons, give back to the community and create a sense of home. Clubs and social organizations are the fabric of life here in West Villages.
Everyone who lives here is encouraged to become engaged at any level that is most appealing to them. If you don’t find something you want, start a new club! Be yourself—whoever you are.
Full time activities directors keep a full schedule of clubs, events and volunteer opportunities. The clubhouses are hives of activity for residents of all ages and interests. Talk with your neighborhood’s lifestyle director or activities director to find out how you can get involved.
Kids at West Villages
Children are an important part of any community and there are plenty of clubs, activities and events for them to enjoy in West Villages. Parks and playgrounds are plentiful, providing many opportunities for fun for all ages. Children often walk, run and bike alongside parents and grandparents. There are clubs and activities for teens to enjoy as well.
We’re also committed to providing school sites as they are needed. In 2016, the Sarasota County School Board acquired a 60-acre parcel of land in West Villages just south of the State College of Florida Venice Campus. This was financed with $3.65 Million in impact fee credits from the developers of the West Villages.
