Here at West Villages we encourage our residents to lead healthy, active and robust lifestyles. Gorgeous inner-connected nature trails and paths provide residents with a safe environment to explore the breath-taking landscape Florida has to offer; all while remaining active in both body and spirit.
Starting in the spring of 2019, West Villages will be the Home of the Braves. The Atlanta Braves baseball team is building its Spring Training complex in West Villages. This will be a year-round facility that will also host concerts, charity events, ball games and many other community events. The Tiki Bar will be open daily for a relaxing afternoon snack while watching a practice game.
If you’re an avid bocce ball player or wannabe tennis aficionado, West Villages offers exciting sports clubs to find like-minded individuals to share in those experiences.

Full time activities directors keep schedules for club meetings in their neighborhoods, including book clubs for the literary-inclined resident. We look forward to setting you up with the perfect group of residents who share your passion for everything from books to bridge to Bunco!
At West Villages, we believe you’re never too old to learn something new. Whether you want to brush up on a new language or are especially interested in a particular historical time period, the State College of Florida – Venice offers exciting classes for any interest.
Our neighborhood activities directors also help residents to connect with ways to give back to the community. Residents can volunteer at any number of local non-profits, arts venues, schools and more to contribute to the civic betterment of the area.
At West Villages, we truly believe that health and wellness are the pillars of a healthy lifestyle. Neighborhood clubhouses host classes for almost any fitness level. Try Zumba for advanced students and light aerobics for beginners. Most neighborhoods have a gym on-site for residents to enjoy as well.

Our community clubhouses are buzzing with activity as residents gather for meetings and gameplay. Whether your game of choice is Mah Jongg, Bunco or poker, there is always someone to challenge at the clubhouse.
