Sarasota National & Grand Palm in West Villages Florida

West Villages Florida is fast becoming one of the most popular addresses in the country for master-planned communities.  Since there is a West Villages Improvement District as well as a West Villages Florida community, it is sometimes easy for people to assume that they cover identical geographies, but they are slightly different.

West Villages Florida is the area in Southern Sarasota County that includes Sarasota National, Grand Palm, Gran Paradiso, Preserve, Renaissance, Oasis, Island Walk and the area where the new Atlanta Braves Spring Training home will go, along with the future Town Center and residential areas south of Tamiami Trail.

As new and growing neighborhoods, Sarasota National and Grand Palm are part of West Villages Florida despite not being part of the 13-year-old West Villages Improvement District because they give us a strategic marketing advantage to current and potential residents as well as potential retailers.

These two neighborhoods have the same 34293 Venice zip code and our children go to the same schools as the children of the other existing communities. Many years ago, we were all part of Taylor Ranch.

Why Sarasota National? It has a championship golf course that will test golfers at any skill level. The course also is an Audubon Certified Signature Sanctuary and is surrounded by wetlands and preserves. The neighborhood also boasts the Palm Club, a resource that few Master-Planned Communities have.

Why Grand Palm? It was recently named one of the 50 Best Master-Planned Communities in the US by Where to Retire Magazine. This proves what many of us already have seen, that Grand Palm is an elite community.

With their great amenities, variety of nationally renowned builders and location straddling the City of North Port and unincorporated Venice – Sarasota National and Grand Palm make us stronger.
